The client approached Abbacus Technologies for the development of a simple CMS Website. As per Abbacus's approach, we started with kick off meeting with the client. This kick off meeting was helpful for gathering the requirements specific to the project. Then the client was also given some better options, in line with his requirements, to improvise his website according to Abbacus's expertise. After all the requirements were gathered, we started with design of the site. During design phase, the client wanted us to include all the domain names that he wanted for his website. So our designers included the flags according to the domain names that the client provided to us.
After the approval of the design by the client we progressed to our next phase that is the coding part. There was nothing new in the development phase, as we had developed many CMS sites beforehand also. After the development, we started with executing the test cases prepared based on the client's requirements in phase 1 and test plan developed by our Test Manager. The Complete project was commenced starting from requirement gathering and analysis till the site release and admin panel functionality was developed offshore at our premises in India.
It was a great result for our client that everything in the website was according to their expectation and some even much better than what they expected. I remember that after the release of the site, the client called and said "Great Job Abbacus".
